讲座内容：

This paper develops a dynamic model of export entry under tariff uncertainty to explain how temporary trade shocks cause persistent declines in market participation. The framework features endogenous information acquisition through social learning from incumbent exporters. A temporary shock reduces the number of incumbents, degrading the precision of firms’beliefs about future tariffs. Risk-averse firms respond by raising the productivity threshold for entry, which further reduces the pool of information providing exporters. This creates a self-reinforcing "uncertainty trap" where diminished information precision and reduced entry feed into each other, leading to a long-lasting contraction in export participation

嘉宾简介：

铁瑛，厦门大学经济学博士，现任职于上海财经大学商学院，主要研究方向为：异质性企业贸易理论、知识流动和知识产品交易。在《经济研究》、《管理世界》、《经济学》（季刊）、《世界经济》等期刊发表论文。主持完成国家自然科学基金青年项目和教育部人文社科青年项目各一项，主持在研国家自然科学基金面上项目一项。入选2020年度上海市“曙光计划”。
